Yay for the Johnsons! I've known Nicole since high school and I was so excited that she asked me to do her maternity photos, and I'll photograph her Itty Bitty boy when he comes! She's due a week before me, so things could get interesting with working schedules out but we'll worry about that when it comes time. :-) I photographed them in a park in Kettering, a place I've never tried before but was very pleased!
Here is the last of my Farm Sessions... It was SO GORGEOUS out there, and there are so many great locations. If you are interested in doing Farm Photos next Fall, I will definitely be booking appointments for it! But for now, enjoy!

Things have been a lot more 'slow going' lately; we have so so SO much going on! Not only have we been trying to purchase an amazing house, (we should FINALLY close this week!!!) packing and cleaning, but I threw my back out again on Friday.... oh yeah, and I'm 36 weeks pregnant!! Baby Lydia will be here before we know it...... We are so excited!!!
I had the great privilege of photographing my cousin Emily's daughter, Lillian... She is exactly one year and one day younger than Megan... SO CUTE! She took a bit to warm up here and there, but came shining through eventually! Her "Grammy" knitted her this sweater and hat as well; she did a beautiful job!
Yay for Phil and Lanie! They've been married for just a year now (can't believe it's been a year already; seems like we were just at their wedding!) and celebrated their wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. They had a gorgeous week for photos!!!
Last week I got to photograph Rob, who is a Senior at Springboro High School. I've known his family for a very long time; from my Mom's church... I'm pretty sure this guy was 5 or 6 when I met him... Can't believe he's a Senior!!! He did a great job; most Senior guys make this process more painful... :-) But he was fantastically agreeable!! Thanks, Rob; have a great Senior year!
Yay, I feel so accomplished! I've got everything edited from my 'crazy shoot weekend'.... More to come still, but I'm getting there! Here's Ben & Andrea's engagement session; they are getting married in December!!! Congrats, guys!

Here's my 2nd shoot of the weekend, The Mangold Family! I was so excited that they were willing to meet me out in Yellow Springs; I've been wanting to photograph out there for a while... and it was just GORGEOUS!!!
I had a BUSY BUSY BUSY photo weekend; and one of my favorite friends Rachel asked me to photograph them again this Fall... and I am so so pleased with how they turned out! Their kids are so cute; and Reagan will be 2 in the next week! Oh man... that means that Megan will turn 2 exactly 2 weeks and 2 days after her! Man, time DOES fly!
Witten, oh Witten... SO CUTE! He was all smiles until my flash went off... this first photo is literally the 2nd photo I took... after this, he was serious as ever! But after trying to get him to smile for about 30 minutes and him just getting fussier, he let us know what he needed and FELL ASLEEP!!! So sweet.... He took a quick cat nap and then woke up a little more pleasant. :-) He was such a cutie; thanks Erika and Ryan!
I had a photo session with Neil & Kristi Rogers' family; LOVE THEM!! It was her Grandparent's 50th Wedding Anniversary... I usually don't do as many 'posed photos', but with a large family group, and the tone being a very 'dressy' event, I didn't really have a choice... but it's good to get the best of both worlds!!! So we did some on a background, and some outside... Enjoy!
Of course, I had to load up some photos of my OWN baby... :-) I picked up these boots at the thrift store, and found the rain coat at The Flower Factory and just couldn't WAIT to get a rainy day where there were tons of puddles.... I got the perfect opportunity the other day! It POURED for like 15 minutes, then the sun came out... PERFECT picture opportunity :) Here's my Meggy girl, at 21 months old.
Last week I did a session with Rebecca; who is the sister of one of my best friends, Rachel... She was so GREAT to photograph!! She was such a natural in front of the camera, I hardley had to give her any direction at all... made my job so much easier :-) These are just a few of my favorites... there were so many, it was so hard to decide!!!
